Godt at vide når du dyrker yoga med mig online

Først og fremmest vil jeg gerne huske dig på, at yoga er for ALLE! Og Alle er velkomne til mine timer. Hver og én af jer inspirerer mig med jeres historie og tankegang, og det er så fedt at vi alle er forskellige og unikke. Det eneste det kræver at være med, er et åbent sind, og jeg vil endda sige - hvis du ikke føler du er klar til at starte yoga - vil jeg elske den udfordring at udvide din horisont og hjælpe dig til at prøve noget nyt. Never try - Never know! Og jeg lover jeg - yoga føles godt for ALLE kroppe!


Hvad har jeg brug for, for at være med?

Alt du skal gøre er, at downloade programmet “zoom” (klik her for at downloade zoom), en yoga måtte eller et flat underlag, og noget behageligt tøj du kan bevæge dig i. Når du booker sender jeg dig en bekræftelsesmail med linket til zoom, hvor timen foregår. Jeg sender dig også et link til en særlig playliste på min Spotify profil jeg har lavet til den specifikke time, som du kan spille mens vi laver timen sammen, hvis du har lyst.

As we all practice in our homes which is full of distractions, I like to (whenever possible) create a little sacred space close to where I lay out my mat. This can be simple - a plant you love, a crystal, a candle etc. Find a few things that has meaning to you and make the space around you nice. You deserve it! I believe it is important we honour and appreciate our surroundings as we start the practice of honouring ourselves.


I am a little shy. Do I need to practice with my camera and sound on?

Let me start by saying - I absolutely understand! As soon as you enter the zoom room your microphone will automatically be muted. I ask that you please keep it muted during the practice. However, I do like to hear your voices, so I always ask you to unmute yourselves at the end so we can all say goodbye to each other. As for camera, it is of course up to you. I much prefer if you keep it on so I can make sure you are practicing safely and I can give you modifications during the class if needed.


I am new to yoga, will the classes be too difficult for me?

My classes are open for everyone. I am used to teaching big groups where some students have never done yoga before and some have practiced daily for 10 years. It honestly doesn’t matter. And what’s nice about being in your own home is that the fear you might have had about walking into a yoga studio is eliminated. You can just relax and wear your pyjamas if you like! No one is watching! If you would like to start slow, I recommend starting with the Gentle Yin Yang class. You are always welcome to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. It is completely normal to feel a little nervous when you are trying something new!


I don’t know anything about astrology, can I still join the workshop?

You don’t have to know anything about astrology to join the Sunday workshops. It will be a fun and informative and creative couple of hours where I will teach you how we can use the energies of the cosmos to our benefit. You can read more about astrology here. The yoga practice I will guide in this workshop is created with a very subtle layer of cosmic energies, and you can choose to tap into these energies and use them to go deeper – or you can simply enjoy the physical benefits of the practice. 

It is completely up to you!


Why should I book a private yoga class?

Private yoga classes are a really great way to get started with the journey of yoga. I will tailor the class specifically to your body’s needs, and help you get comfortable with all the poses and "yoga names” so you can join the group sessions when you like. This is also a great opportunity if you are working with any injuries and need modifications to your practice. If you are already a practitioner, this is an excellent way to advance your practice, go deeper, and further your knowledge on yourself.
